Gary McRobb
Gary McRobb was first elected to the Yukon Legislative Assembly in the general election of September 30, 1996 and re-elected in subsequent general elections on April 17, 2000, November 4, 2002 and October 10, 2006.
Mr. McRobb is the Liberal caucus critic for the Department of Energy, Mines and Resources, the Department of Economic Development, Yukon Housing Corporation, Yukon Development Corporation, and Yukon Energy Corporation. He also serves as the Official Opposition House Leader.
Before becoming MLA for Kluane, Mr. McRobb served as a public advocate for utility consumers and the environment, operated a small wilderness tourism business and worked in the transportation industry.
Born in New Westminster, B.C., Mr. McRobb was raised in neighbouring Coquitlam and moved to the Yukon in 1972. He has lived in Whitehorse, at Aishihik Lake and now resides in scenic Haines Junction.
