Dawson City sewage plant penalized for unsafe mould cleanup
The Yukon Workers Compensation Health and Safety Board has penalized the company operating Dawson City's new sewage treatment plant for its handling of a mould outbreak.

Dawson Hospital opening in December - Questions Remain
The good news that the Dawson City Hospital will officially open in December is tempered by a number of questions that remain unanswered about the facility itself. They include:
- some contractors who worked on the building have still not been paid.
- the final costs are not known. What was originally going to be a $5.2 million health care facility was last pegged at $31.8 million? What will the final number be?

Conference Board of Canada says real GDP growth in the territory will be 0.6 per cent in 2013. Only a few weeks ago Government of Yukon said 0.9. Either way one of the lowest in Canada this year.
Hey Brad, why are you delaying the fall sitting?
The Cathers government is down to its final week to ensure a 28 day fall sitting of the Yukon Legislature. The announcement should come this Thursday. It looks like the sitting will now begin on Halloween and end on December 19. Anything later than this will mean a shortened sitting. You're not trying to limit debate by having a shorter sitting are you, Brad?
