Donations entitle you to a political contribution tax credit. 

Both individuals and corporations are entitled to the tax credit. While there is no limit to how much you can donate, the maximum annual credit is $650.00

The credit amount is calculated as the same of:
*75% of the first $400.00 of contributions
*50% of the next $350.00 of contributions
*33.33% of the next $525.00 of contributions

For example, if you contribute $100.00 you will receive $75 off your taxes, making the actual cost to you only $25.00

Identities of those who donate $250.00 or less are never made public
