James Rowberry announced as Yukon Liberal candidate for Marsh Lake – Mt. Lorne – Golden Horn

MT. LORNE – The Yukon Liberal Party is proud to announce that James Rowberry will be the party’s official candidate in the riding of Marsh Lake – Mt. Lorne – Golden Horn for the upcoming territorial election.

James is a long-time Yukoner with a strong record of community involvement and public service. With a background in people leading, education, and local development, he is known for his steady approach and principled work ethic. He is deeply committed to working alongside Yukoners to build stronger, more connected communities and ensure that rural communities have the infrastructure and services they need to thrive.

James is known for reliability and his collaborative, grounded approach — listening to residents, working across differences, and turning ideas into action. A passionate outdoors enthusiast, he deeply values the land and the lifestyle that defines this part of the territory.

As a resident of the riding, and member of the Mount Lorne Advisory Council, James understands the diverse needs of Marsh Lake, Mt. Lorne, Golden Horn, and the surrounding areas. He values the importance of fair and honest representation — and believes in amplifying the voices of his constituents. Hearing them out even when their views differ from his own. He is committed to representing all voices in the Legislature and advocating for practical, community-driven solutions.
