Join Vuntut Gwitchin MLA Debra-Leigh Reti and the team for Mother’s Day card-making fun in Whitehorse
WHITEHORSE, YT - The Yukon Liberal Party is inviting community members to slow down, get creative, and connect at a relaxed, family-friendly Mother’s Day-themed fundraiser at The Mini Makerspace.
The three-hour, drop-in event offers a welcoming craft space where participants can make handmade cards for mothers, aunties, grandmothers, caregivers, or anyone they wish to recognize. All materials will be provided, and attendees are welcome to stay and craft, drop by briefly, or pick up supplies to take supplies home.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet Yukon Liberal Party Interim Leader and MLA for Vuntut Gwitchin, Debra-Leigh Reti, and share their thoughts on the direction of the party in an informal, low-pressure setting.
For those with loved ones outside Whitehorse, completed cards can be left on-site and will be mailed with provided postage. The Makerspace store will also be open for anyone wishing to add items to their package.
The event operates on a pay-what-you-can basis, with a suggested contribution of $10–$20 per person. Mocktails, juice, and pop will be available for purchase.
