Hi, I’m Mellisa Kwok.

I’m a passionate advocate for building stronger, healthier communities—and that’s why I’m running to be your MLA for Whitehorse Centre.

Born and raised in Whitehorse, I’m a proud second-generation Chinese Canadian and mother of two. For over 15 years, I’ve worked to strengthen our community through leadership in the non-profit sector, served as a Council Member for the City of Whitehorse and worked with Yukon First Nation organizations.

I care deeply about the future of our community. My priorities are:

  • Affordable housing
  • Tackling the rising cost of living
  • Safer, healthier downtown spaces
  • Accessible health and mental health services
  • Strong partnerships with Yukon First Nations

My vision for Whitehorse Centre is one of inclusion, opportunity, and resilience—
